Chippers is a Christian playgroup for children who are 18-36 months old.
‍
Groups will meet weekly for 1 hour to participate in art, music, gross motor activities, story times, and bible lessons. Each session will also include gym time and one class field trip!

This is an Adult and Me class to promoting fun and social interaction between children and their grown-ups, as well as each other. An adult must accompany each child in class.
Our Spring Session starts on January 14 & 15
and runs through May 20 & 21.

Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:30 AM

$75 Registration fee for the session.
Scholarships are available.

Join us for a fun night full of crafts, including a choose-your-own DIY project! While we make our beautiful creations, we will learn about how God created all the beauty we see in the world around us.

Scholarships are available to help with registration fees.

This is a drop-off event for children in 3-year-old Preschool through 5th grade.
All PreK age children must be fully potty trained.

Children's Sunday School

We are celebrating our fall kick-off at our 9:45 Contemporary service on Sunday, September 11!

We will recognize all Sunday School teachers and students.
3rd grade will also receive their bibles

Abigail Helmick

Children's Ministry Director

Abby was raised in Chippewa and graduated from Blackhawk High School. She earned her bachelor's degree at Pitt and a master's degree from Slippery Rock. She and her husband Ben met while in college and have been happily married for 7 years, and have one daughter, Eliana.

Abby is creative, and enjoys event planning and innovating new ways to help kids connect with God. Her favorite event of the year is Vacation Bible School! She loves making personal connections with the kids in our Children's Ministry and encouraging them in their personal lives while watching them grow.

Outside of mom responsibilities, Abby enjoys crafting and spending time outside. She currently serves her community as part of Liam Search and Rescue, a wilderness search and rescue team with her certified Search and Rescue K-9, Harley.

Sunday School

The Children's Sunday School program for students in Preschool through fifth grade meets each week in Fellowship Hall at 9:30am.
If your children are unable to attend in person, a video lesson is available here, following the service on our livestream, and available on Facebook.
Safe Sanctuaries is our effort in providing a safe place for our congregation to gather, where children, youth and adults can experience God's love.

Anyone who is 18 and older working in any staff or volunteer capacity with children and youth at the church or para church ministry are required to complete our Sale Sanctuary Training and obtain federal and state clearances.
